    Hi All, Do any roofers still do the old style layer of felt and paint over with tar method? Are they legally allowed to do so? We've asked for a lot of quotes and they are all stating that new regs mean they should use the 3 layer technique - and quotes are coming in at approx £45-60...

    Thanks v much for the replies. So firstly - The joists go from front to back, so rolling would work I guess. I just can't imagine how you do that? Lift the front up using say standard car jacks, put the scaffolding poles perhaps half way underneath, then pull down on the shed so it sits...
