no loss seen on a motorised valve, both was replaced about a year ago I know that doesn't mean its not faulty but there's no sign of a water leak. If it's the main heat exchanger is it worth replacing as its 10 years old or changing the boiler ? Thanks

Hi All Just had Vaillant ecotec 615 serviced today and a new prv. Just noticed boiler had a F23 temp alarm and said to turn off the boiler. ive turned it off and back on and it's gone away just now, apart from ringing the engineer tomorrow . whats the problem and can I do anything thanks

I have ordered a new air vent as its leaking as its not tightening up properly. however I am still having loads of air after 3 weeks , I have automatic air vents in all upstairs rads , is there anything else I can do ?

HI All On a Magnaclean air vent is it the square nut in the vent thats supposed to move or the whole round vent as on mine its the whole round vent that moves. When I tighten it back up it feels like its going tight then loose again. Should I replace it ?

I am having a rad changed this week for a larger rad, I have a system boiler and a tank in the airing cupboard. My question is when the plumber drains the rads will I lose all of the hot water in the hot water tank or will it only drain the heat side of the system. Many Thanks

The flow into both are on the right hand side, yes they are the same rads , and both are fed by 10mm micropore. I will ring the rad company and ask if they have baffles in. Thanks

When I tried to balance them, they was the first I opened , 1st one heated up quick the other took a while , but the pipe coming into the rads get really hot so hot water is getting there
