    established 1N, the next issue is the cable that samsung state to use - H05 ss - f ( 180 degrees ) i have been everywhere, even electrician wholsalers who dont stock this and find is strage that its required do i actually need this ? or is a 85 degree one ok which seems comonly used

    i dont know the current ceramic hob is wired with the 6 wires, ( although this cable came with the original hob ) the over would plug into a 13 a socket

    they are actually all in a case ( backing part from a plug socket ) i think the best thing for me to do to keep it neet and tidy is to track the grey wire from the honeywell valve and also track from the thermostat as everything is easily accessable, connect these and just run a new wire from...

    thanks for the info, so - grey wire is not from the boiler thermostat, its from the honeywell valve ? how do all 3 connect together ? ie = thermostat to valve to HW off ?

    so would this be correct - if i have 3 conductors on the boiler thermostat ( and an earth ) i connect the grey wire to the HW off terminal on the drayton lp522 ?? would this then mean that i have to change the timer to P ( pumped ) would this also mean that if i put CH on, the HW...

    currently i have teh timer set @ G and its heating the water ok, should i change this to P even though the hw comes on with CH ? When i put the timer on, all wires were connected together etc by electrical blocks, there is no box so to speak ?

    This all depends on how easy it is to run a new cable from the Drayton and from the HW cylinder thermostat i like the idea of the above is it as easy as running 1 wire ?? would this mean i still have a GRAVITY SYSTEM ?

    further to this, i have spoken to drayton again who think i have a gravity system as i cannot have the ch on without the hw ?
