    Even the worst natural slate can be laid to look ok. Here , there is lack of care and skill . There are rusting pirites which indicates a low grade slate . It's just a mess

    No not good . They really need to extract to the outside . The vent tiles are doing nothing if the underlay isn't cut. You could get a guy to lift the vent , modify the underlay fit the required adapter and then connect up . Depending on tile type it will either be an easy job or a fiddly one ...

    Condron, Burton roofing deal with condron . However , looking at the new images I reckon a Marley modern or Redland mini stone wold might work You are correct the tile in your first image had been cut .. The ridge looks like a Redlands uni angle ridge
