Hi guys, just wondering how you guys line the battens up in a valley or lining the battens up around a building or with hip tiles when you have different pitches

Cheers

You can't unless you alter the gauge - and that would be impractical or bonkers. Use dry GRP valleys and a ridged hip.

We tile different pitches often .
Grp or lead is not always acceptable but can help in a valley if valley tiles are not essential .
Bonnet hips must course side to side . Do not exceed the maximum gauge for the tile . You need to reduce the gauge on one pitch which you will need to measure up and work out .
Provided the pitch difference is not major it can be done
