Install single and dual smart switches

You don't have a neutral wire at that switch position. Your smart switch requires a Neutral connection so it can't be fitted there.

    Architrave next to wall

Start again and scribe it to the wall. Temporarily fix the architrave to the frame in a vertical position which just touches the wall in one place. Measure the amount that you need to remove to get the edge of the architrave to sit in the correct position relative to the edge of the frame. Mark...

    Secured by Design window restrictor

I don't know how much it can resist forced entry with a few screws fixed into a uPVC window frame. It's also too bulky for my taste.

    Combi or Conventional Boiler

They possibly don't go wrong more but everything is contained within the boiler so you need a Gas Safe engineer to change the circulating pump for example, which can easily be changed DIY on a conventional system. The boiler fires up every time someone operates a hot tap so more switching...

    Micro bore Pipes

This is likely to be one of your problems. 15mm isn't big enough to feed 10 rads.

    Alarm Bell Box Not Working

Yes. The system will have been professionally installed, is it regularly serviced? Normally batteries get checked/changed on a service visit. Speak to the people who are servicing it.

    Trailer wheel bearings - why?

No idea, I didn't get stopped.

    Trailer wheel bearings - why?

Have seen police outside our local recycling centre examining cars with (very obviously) overloaded trailers.

Leaving wago connectors inside light fitting?

In the same sense that the blue and brown wires within the light fitting are double insulated. Printing a double box on a label is cheaper than providing an earth connection.

Tile from middle of room, or middle of door?

Assuming these are ceramic and not porcelain tiles: Fix the full tiles, then use a piece of card to make a template for where the soil pipe and inlet pipe fall. The inlet pipe is going to need a hole cutting with a diamond tile hole cutter and then the tile will need to be snapped into two...

    LOFT BOARDING & INSULATION

Don't squash the insulation, this makes it less effective. It is normal to use T&G chipboard flooring in a loft. If you support it on loft legs they can be fitted without removing the existing insulation or squashing it.

Tile from middle of room, or middle of door?

It would be better to have a join where your laser line is. That will get rid of the two thin slivers of tile near the top and bottom walls in your photo. In the other direction put the centre of a tile in the centre of the gap between the two walls. You will the end up with one full tile along...

Tile from middle of room, or middle of door?

Lay out a row of tiles, with spacers in between them, on the floor in each direction to form a cross shape. Adjust the starting position in both directions so that you don't get any small slivers of tile near any wall or the door.

which loft board is the best?

P5 is strong enough, OSB may be stronger but why is the extra strength needed? Your professional tradeperson prefers P5, be guided by them, that is one of the reasons for using experienced professionals.

    Removal of ev charger

The IET say that IPC's should not be used on consumer tails. https://electrical.theiet.org/wiring-matters/years/2022/89-march-2022/insulation-piercing-connectors/ Their use seems particularly unnecessary since you have an isolator available to disconnect the tails. A proper fix would be to...

    Fire Angel Smoke/Heat Alarms

I would risk it for a small amount of money that I could afford to lose or which would likely be recoverable from a credit card company. They are a small, family run business with premises in Batley. They seem to have been trading for a couple of years. I have never used them. They get mixed...

Bulbs reporting as being offline, but still work?

We pay our money (or not) and take our choices. Smart lighting works well for me in a variety of situations. You are free to stick with lights controlled by switches if you wish, I also do that in some situations. I also use smart lighting to switch bedroom lights on at a low level in the...

Bulbs reporting as being offline, but still work?

Why is it worse? A smart light comes on automatically when entering a room and goes off automatically when the room is empty. When away from home smart lighting can be used to simulate the lighting activity which would happen when someone was at home. This might help to deter break ins.
