I think there’s something off. You have 2 heating zones, but only one is thermostatically controlled, but a 3 channel programmer. Ideally you need 3 motorised valves for a 3 channel to work effectively.

Are you sure the stopcocks are for the correct place, eg the garden room? Sounds like it's connected wrong imo

If any of those pipes are gas pipes then cables need to be 25mm away or have separation of some kind, eg a partition.

Does the light come on the Hive receiver stating heating on? If yes, could be the switch live part of the receiver

It would be better to know the flow rate in litres per minute, the technical data of the boiler as well. It could be a coincidence and you have component failure.

Looks like it’s been installed to circumvent the requirements. Should be clipped as well.

I believe you can get the rod/earth path tested, which is why I think the suggestion of an eicr.

Correct No, there’s no insert and not something I would have thought a separate item, as per @JohnW2 - easiest is to replace the backbox.

I don’t think there’s a mention of the “faulty” socket being replaced. I’m of the same opinion with it being an fcu that’s inadvertently been turned off

Yes it should fit, and they shouldn’t be that far out if at all. There is room for slight adjustment on the plate.

No they didn’t ask. I asked if the code was one of theirs and they said yes 100%. I took the measurements which are available on Amazon’s website, which is the same on my link to upvc spares, which is where I’m ordering from and they seem the same measurements. Hopefully will fit.
