How to best relocate this waste pipe?

Depends on situation but I try and install them so that it goes up in adjacent cupboard(s) and across at high level rather than snaking for 2-3m under the kickboards!

How to best relocate this waste pipe?

Every washing machine and dishwasher "won't drain" I attend, the hose runs under the units and up to the spigot. They clogg up with particles that build up over time and can eventually kill the pump.

    Float valve? Help please

I don't leave leaks. They may occur post visit due to expansion/contractions/pressure fluctuations, but I check and recheck there are none whilst I'm there.

    Tundish and trap

Are you G3 qualified? Doubt it. As I said above... If it's under warranty or new install, you have to follow MI's. If not and your own place... Pretty much do as you wish.

    Float valve? Help please

Only in the plumbing forum! But, I guess it's easy for us when we've a van full of odds and sods and the know-how to hurdle whatever obstacle is out in front of us... I get it all the time in my local merchants, where I drink a lot of tea, behind the counter... "what do I need to need to...

    Float valve? Help please

Don't reuse existing nut. 15mm will go on 1/2 anyway. Just get rid of old nut and olive, if it is indeed imperial.

How to best relocate this waste pipe?

Waste in floor in photo would also need a trap so, unless chasing it into wall and using a hepvo inline, your best bet would be to use a sink spigot but keep the drain hose up high... Not along the floor.

Is the heater new? Still under warranty? If so, ask the manufacturer.

    Float valve? Help please

Take a couple of imperial olives. Use the stopcock in the street if its a modern meter one... Internal (if you can find it) will likely be seized. Drain the rising main via kitchen cold tap.

    Bypass valve

Time and time again... If a new boiler is installed onto a dirty system, it will fook the boiler! This is why manufacturers are now strict with warranty conditions... They've changed enough hex's to know what fooked them! "Oh, but this quote for an install was cheaper!" YES... because that...

    Is my radiator leaking?

Pin will be leaking. They always do. Remove head and make sure pin moves freely up and down. This may stop the weeping or may not!

    Is my radiator leaking?

If you've cleaned it up and it's reappeared then it's leaking. Leaks can appear when hot or cold or when transitioning from one to the other as materials expand and contract at different rates.

    Radiator Sludge

In layman's terms... Sludged up system are present in 1000s if not millions of properties. National gas usage would be reduced dramatically if all systems were clean and treated.

If its yellow... Don't let it mellow!!

Ain't that right @HERTS P&D... That stalag-shyte has now dropped 3 metres down the stack! This means opening up the wall and cutting a section out of the stack, so that it can be pulled out... It's about 500mm long and hard as concrete! My Saturday morning job
