    Toilet shower room without window

Not necessarily a disadvantage! We have a decent sized window in our bathroom/toilet. The fans PIR is triggered every time someone walks in the room, and it then runs for 20 minutes. The 20 minute run, after someone has had a bath. or shower - gets most of the airborne moisture out, but some...

Anyway to repair this Power washer cable? (photos)

That is what I said, but the OP, has since confirmed it is the power cable which is damaged.

A PIR, guarantees the fan goes on.

    Water pipe behind switch

All of my pipes are either surface, and visible, or hidden by cupboards, boxed in. In the kitchen, I planned the runs, to be hidden behind cupboard, in the hall, I have two heating pipe drops, one either side of the door, with the boxing in carefully disguised.

What have you been doing today?

Yet another hospital appointment. Sprung on me this time, at short notice, just a phone call, where they said they would text the details of what and where - except, they never did, just the day, and time. Ended up with a panic this morning, wondering which hospital, and where in the hospital...

    Toilet shower room without window

Quite doable, with the essential - adequate ventilation. Aside from providing adequate airflow out, a fixed means would be needed, to allow air to get in. The fan would need to be PIR, and humidity triggered, with a run on timer of 20 minutes.

https://www.askmid.com/ It only confirms the vehicle has some insurance on it, it is not able to confirm whether, or not, the person driving it is covered to be driving it.

    Chimney

Unlikely - Mine dog-legs too. It goes straight up, then in the loft dog-legs to one side, to exit entirely on one face of the roof. If it were to move below the roof level, there would be evidence of the movement.

    'Young offender', at the door

With an Irish accent? Yep, we get them too, maybe the same ones - Always in an untaxed, uninsured truck of some type, with an 'HIGHWAYS' board on the back, orange lights. The last one, a few weeks ago, insisting my drive was a disgusting mess, and wanting to make it even worse.

    Checking bathroom scales

That sounds like a good method to check them. I have a suitable barrel, just a matter of measuring water into it.

    'Young offender', at the door

On checking the recording, there were apparently two. One came coloured lad sauntered in, with a large rucksack on his back, got no response, maybe didn't knock loud enough - he was followed ten minutes later by a white lad, with no rucksack, whom I heard knock, and he was alert enough, to press...

    Checking bathroom scales

I check my weight, once per week, the hospital ask for it each month, for my CKD appointment. So I like it to be accurate. No.

    Checking bathroom scales

I/we've had this pair of digital scales for something like 15 years. When the opportunity has presented itself, I have checked them against surgery scales, whilst wearing the same clothes, on returning home, and they have always agreed, until recently. During my most recent check, with hospital...

    'Young offender', at the door

Whilst busy cooking, and alone, a knocks comes to front door, the other side of the house. I never open the front door, to anyone unexpected - rather I open the bay window. Young lad there, wearing an ID lanyard says 'I'm a young offender.....', I respond with my default 'No thanks', close the...

    Is it just me

No such thing as computers, when I was at school - it was all valves, until transistors appeared. I got myself interested in electronics, after school, then when the very early computers came along, they really grabbed my interest. It cost me many thousands. I wasn't athletic, at all. Whilst...

    Condensation pipe seal

That, alone, suggests that the larger pipe is suffering an obstruction, preventing it draining further down. I would explore that first, as a matter of urgency.

    Is it just me

Teachers, are themselves, only taught just enough to be able to teach what they teach. They so rarely have any real, deep understanding of what they are teaching, or how things actually work. I did the RAE course, not because needed it, but to ensure I wouldn't be caught out by the exam. There...
