Trumps attack on Iran - 2026 edition

I doubt they will ever (genuinely) agree to this. Ever.

    Starmer destroys the UK

From Trump's perspective it's not good, and any of his brown nosed minions. I tend to agree with many of the experts and talking heads. In reality, under the surface, most of the day to day collaborative working continues. Most of the people involved in said work will still be getting on...

    Starmer's treachery

Not sure if it's been mentioned here, apparently Labour is trying to get next weeks PMQs cancelled.

    22 years

Yeah the sentencing in many cases is utterly pathetic. We're moving more and more to a 'awww, the poor perpetrator' system as opposed to being focused on the victim, their families, and justice for the crime committed. Whilst I don't advocate the death penalty, this is the sort of case I would...

Will they be Jailed then deported?

Greens not happy that the BBC exposed this. There again, their end goal is a borderless world where literally anyone, in any quantity, can move here there everywhere. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15740647/Greens-attack-BBC-lies-migrants-asylum.html

Will they be Jailed then deported?

Agreed. Of course they (immigrants) have an impact, however if they were all deported tomorrow, I guarantee our services and delivery of would still be a sh1t show months years from now.

35% of asylum seekers are gay.. or not

Get your point, however my underlying point is government pay for stuff using our money. We pay, regardless of the actual generation. During a recent leaders debate up here, the 'free' stuff we get (prescriptions etc) was being discussed. It took someone in the audience to say 'these things...

Will they be Jailed then deported?

This is a very good point. Don't necessarily blame those who do x, blame the system that allows them to do x. I think back to the MPs expenses scandal. Was it wrong for MPs to claim for stuff like a new water fountain for their garden? Morally, yes. However more wrong was the system that...

35% of asylum seekers are gay.. or not

This is how fecked up this whole migrant thing is. On the telly box the other night was a Scottish leader debate for our May elections. On the one hand some of them (a minority) mentioned the 1000's of economically inactive people in Scotland. A quick Google tells me it's approx. 800k. Fine...

    Trump doesn't like Pope Leo.

I was at a works night out once years back and went to the bar with a work colleague (that I didn't know that well) to collect a round of drinks. The work colleague refused to use the tray the drinks had been put on. Why? Cause the tray was green. Pathetic.

Now now, behave. The UK is NOT seen as a soft touch. We are TOUGH on all this stuff. The present day multiculturism we are experiencing is WORKING!

Trumps attack on Iran - 2026 edition

China defies the blockade. I thought Trump said there would be dire consequences for anyone that dared to? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15731223/JD-Vance-threatens-Iran-condemns-regimes-economic-terrorism-Strait-Hormuz-Live-updates.html

    Trump doesn't like Pope Leo.

I'm going to go as far as to say anyone, regardless of the religion, who genuinely believe acts of significant aggression, conflict, war would be sanctioned by whatever god they follow, are at best deluded. Unless they follow some form of twisted god. I'm agnostic, however if God in the...

What have you been doing today?

I'm not a doctor, however I have diagnosed your problem. Reading the DIYNot general discussion forum! I prescribe no more than 10 minutes reading of the forum per day and not at all on Sunday's. ;) (jokes aside hope you get it all sorted soon)
