Why does my kitchen waste always block?

I want you to tell me what you need it for, need being defined by “something that cannot be binned or flushed, and hence can only be realistically disposed of in a WDU” I genuinely cannot think of anything, and all the things I can think that routinely get put down them are all things that only...

Why does my kitchen waste always block?

Your neighbour buys a drum kit and plays it outside at 2am. You collar him and point out it’s antisocial and has a deleterious effect on other people outside the boundary of his property. He says he’s busy, he works shifts and sleeps in the day, he doesn’t have any space to keep it in the...

    Thick paint over uneven walls

For the price of plasterboard and tape&fill, weighing in the amount it’s bothering you, is it worth such a labour intensive approach versus just taking all the plasterboard off one side, insulating then putting back new sheets?

Why does my kitchen waste always block?

I’m saying that there isn’t anything you can put in a waste disposal unit that you can’t put in something else that 99.99%+ of houses already have. Most houses don’t have WDUs. Why does anyone need a WDU? What use case does it have that makes it worth spending the money on a WDU, and loading the...

Attaching wooden batten to concrete floor.

I’ve several sliding wardrobe doors on tiled and LVT’d floors, below which is a screed that definitely contains UFH heating pipes. I’ve used Sticks Like on all my tracks instead of mechanical fixings into the screed and not had a single issue with it detaching so far

    Speedfit and WRAS confusion

Might have to get the required info from the horse’s mouth themselves?! Not only does the website say “CH only” it doesn’t specifically state WRAS accredited whereas it does for other products. Toolstation’s ad also says CH only - that TS says WRAS approved wouldn’t, in my mind, override JG not...
