So a new Welsh government, what will it mean?

I know my son was for a time a boat person, and yes living on a narrow boat means no fixed abode, and does cause problems, even renewing ones driving licence they want a fixed address. So yes, the Shropshire union canal does run out of Wales, so the person could be in England one day and Wales...

Has plug and play solar now been passed, I see adverts?

But the caravan is, so my comment holds. BS 1363-1 is interesting, and clearly that stops plug and play solar with a 13 amp plug, but can't see anything stopping the use of an EV charging socket. They are it seems designed as bidirectional. Maybe it will not work as the supplier has control of...

    Bosch recirculating cooker hood

I have never seen it used since we moved to mid-Wales.

So a new Welsh government, what will it mean?

Maybe, but all set up by the English. When we had the Brexit vote Scotland wanted to remain, they knew the bigger, the better, but it was the South who swung it, for what ever reason England wants to get rid of the principalities.

Has plug and play solar now been passed, I see adverts?

Just does not make any sense. Every caravan site I have gone to with hookup have the CEEform blue 16 amp sockets, the old BS7671:2008 required 16 amps, so 13 amp is not an option, may as well say 13 amp are not allowed, as it simply does not make sense.

So a new Welsh government, what will it mean?

Well I stopped brewing when I moved house, as I lost my old fridge/freezer I used to use, and at under a £1 for 4 cans, it was not worth all the hassle to home brew. But the tax hike changed that, I only brew in cool weather, as can only heat, can't cool the fermentor, but have around 20 pints...

Has plug and play solar now been passed, I see adverts?

What has a CEEform socket got to do with an EV charging socket? But I do see your point, the 16 amp CEEform socket is the standard socket for caravans and boats, so caravans are domestic so how can they not be permitted?

I had assumed the two small pins tell the EV charging point when to turn on power? Are you saying all EV charging points are non-compliant?

So they have added the tax to make me drink more alcohol that does not seem to make sense!

    Enclosed ceiling recessed fittings

When upgrading my lighting I selected wrong size and types so had a stock of LED GU10 bulbs, I have used around 4 in as many years, so I would be looking at why you need to change the bulbs so often, I have never changed the bulb in my loft.

So a new Welsh government, what will it mean?

Not quite they have raised the price of beer in the supermarkets, which is why I returned to making home brew, the problem is for home brew to be safe, the alcohol level needs to be around 5% and the beer I was buying from Morison's at 90p for 4 was under 2% so it has resulted in increasing how...

Have You Ever Seen This Before On A Ceiling?

I have seen switched behind a suspended ceiling, so one section could be isolated to swap the lighting modules without turning off all the lamps, but it was my job at the time to change it to plug in ceiling roses so they were not required any more. Idea it seems was the work could carry on in...

    Bosch recirculating cooker hood

And I thought you were home, home on the range! We do use something like this with a BBQ, and indoors and all which are really a waste of money used to keep food warm, in exactly the same way as the range cooker not the model my mother had, but similar with warming areas and cooking areas...

Has plug and play solar now been passed, I see adverts?

Bi-directional sockets already made, and two-way transfer already permitted, with a plug and play portable battery pack, more commonly called and EV. So yes you make a good point, and I can't think of a reason why you can't plug in solar panels and battery into the same socket. I will wait and...

So a new Welsh government, what will it mean?

I did use Google Maps set to cycle, so not the most direct route. On the flat, like following the canal I don't need any battery, so range is infinity, but on the rises then I need that motor, so the terrain has a big influence on the range. I actually ran out as I crossed the railway at...

So a new Welsh government, what will it mean?

Aberystwyth is far too far to consider, (48 miles) and Wrexham is also (36 miles) an hour away even by car, neither can be visited using public transport, Shrewsbury (27 miles) not much closer, but at least just about possible with public transport. I have tried to cycle from Shrewsbury on my...

Do we have NHS in Wales? Every time I need to go to hospital I need to go to Shrewsbury.

I suppose it is down to who would end up in court if it all goes wrong. I remember using the electricians mate to do all sorts, until the court case where the foreman was found guilty, for what the mate had done in the Emma Shaw case. That was the end of the electricians mate with many firms...

So a new Welsh government, what will it mean?

Good by Labour, with the 20 MPH speed limit, it was either good by, or get out the walking shoes and the red flag. Not against 20 MPH where needed, past schools etc, but the blanket change then part return means one jumps into a car, and one has no idea if speed limit 20 or 30 in a built-up area...
