    Filtering chemicals

Ladies stockings (tights) might work better? I use for thined paint. You can buy chemical filter bags but you need to know what number microns filtering you need if it's a thin liquid with fine particles.

    Lining paper question

There are instructions for that online and on the back of label. Yeah. Paste paper and give it 10 minutes to soak. They recommend ready mixed paste but for the small area use whatever paste you have. If you got any PVA or wood glue you can mix a bit in with the standard flake paste if you...

What is this join and how do I connect it to a toilet inlet?

Id use copper and compression fittings and some pipe clips. Just nip up vs overtighten if you are a novice. Be gentle or they will leak. Hard part is connecting to the main feed. Why not get a quote and decide

What is this join and how do I connect it to a toilet inlet?

The copper corrosion can and probably has got under the rubbers in the push fit joints. That's a terrible job and a flood waiting to happen. I'd rather use compression fittings and clean up the pipe and clean the inside of that. That black mould is unhealthy. Get a local plumber and start...

You need to remove the one that's there and replace. I've seen boxing made around a damage sill and concrete poured but it's not great. Boxing removed and polished when it's setting. You won't get it anywhere near as good as a precast

Heating of and glugging noise from one rad and a flow sound from another. Advice please.

Bleed rads when heating is off and radiators are cold. When you turn heating on pressure raises so it needs to be cold and off. Didn't the plumbers explain the basics?
