Exterior Plyboard for a garden workshop

...one skin of 12mm plasterboard onto a 6 x 2 timber frame with 50mm mineral wool batting in the middle). Hardie do a similar board, as do Marley/Cedral (made in Widnes, I believe). We just went with Versa as it was the board the SE had done the calcs on I think that cement fibre boards are...

    Garden office/shed

...the substantially non-combustible materials is if your within 1m of the boundary? I'm going to be 2m away. I may also clad the outside in Cedral weatherboard (cement board so non combustible?) if that helps and I could use pink plasterboard inside when it gets to that stage. I'm sure I have...

New slate roof and dormer eaves is running VERY hot - have we made a big mistake???

Breathable (membrane) means it will let water vapor escape. It is not a protection from the sun. Nor does it insulate form the sun. You may benefit from some through ventilation i.e. OFV's and vented ridge etc.

    WHICH NAIL GUN AND WHY

I am about to cover a large building with Marley Cedral Weatherboard. Obviously I will be battening to the brickwork (soft red's), then fixing the cladding to those. I intend to use a nail gun to fix both (battening and cladding). The battening will probably be 38 x 50 (green) and the boards...

    Replacing blade in circular saw

With respect, the OP is cutting Cedral claddng, so he needs a neat, machined cut - which means a power saw, because knife and snap won't give a neat edge at all. OK, I'd have done his job with a corded mitre saw and class M vacuum (safer, better DX IMHO), but I'd still be sawing it As to other...

    Increasing height of sectional garage

...the height of the new roof (tile effect steel roofing sheets are a good budget option). I would recommend a cement based cladding (Marley cedral or similar) for fire/weather resistance/maintenance. You can insulate between shell and cladding to avoid loosing internal space. Check the floor...

    Footings for a garden room

...available are 9m x 2.8m. Although timber framed, it will be insulated all round with 90mm / 100mm Celotex, be clad in something decent such as Cedral Lap or HardiePlank, and be fitted with uPVC double-glazed windows and door. I've prepared a rough bill of materials rounding everything up and...

Side walls on a garage in an enclosed space...

We used Cedral cladding on our garden shed. However, you won't be able to build it modular and successfully wrap it and clad in modular form.

    Garden Office SIPS build

...tool, delivered today - a Ryobi 18g brad nailer so that I can make light work of installing the skirting and architrave. Oh, and the Cedral Lap cladding that I ordered for 3 of the 4 walls, all 50 boards plus profiles etc, turned up on Friday, so that hopefully I can try and start fitting...
