    Biggest challenge is around the horns of the frames and on walls that face south. I use an exterior filler mix and add UPA. Paint over with Santex and overcoat if I spot any cracks. This has been the most reliable method for me.

    Misuse I often see in forums… “Ampage” when they mean current. Confusing power and capacity - as in “that battery is more powerful” because it has a higher Ah rating.

    Make sure it is dry and clean before applying then allow 48 hours to cure. Check for flexing as suggested above is a good idea.

    Quite - a balun doesn’t require power. The only exception is an active type that includes an amplifier.
