    Got new cap in. Think it's the board as it runs when all sensor terminals are linked out and also a link from L in to M (motor). Well... May also be sensors but 1 at a time eh!

    I get your point. The first one was in a plastic can so looked pretty much like a 60. 2nd one metal can so just my gut feeling tbh. Just by the "look" of one component against a replacement! Perhaps I should have tried ebay for the first one, as they seem to have a wider range than amazon :)

    Good spot. Not sure... It was a disconnected spade plug with boot! Pump runs when I spin the fan impeller.

    They are all 60 not 65. This one is a heavy duty and metal can.

    So... I have another pump with a duff cap. This one also is a CBB65 but is 12uF On amazon, the only ones that aren't weeks for delivery are 12.5uF does that make a big difference in the world of capacitance or would it be OK? Thanks D

    Hey mate... I looked at the kit and saw the specifics on the cap, and then just went on amazon, as one does these days! IMO it's just 10uF with 4 pins and the correct voltage! For £10 for 2 (Inc delivery) it's a no brainer ;)

    That kit is bloody expensive and all I think I need is the cap and the shaft seals. Will see if I can get those.

Although he didn't even have access to documentation for a product of that age and couldn't give the ratings for the capacitor! These pumps are...

    What's throwing me is that the original CBB65 capacitor looks more like the CBB60's currently available online and not the new CBB65's available! They all seem to be metal cases with 4 and 2 prong terminals. Don't want to wait for the wrong one and wouldn't know if it was wrong or another...
