    Heatmiser Neo air thermostats

Yes, all others have the same cables. I didn't have time to check as I was only doing a boiler service and I didn't have a cable in the van to link it to my meter

    Heatmiser Neo air thermostats

Yes, there are lots of these stats. About 9 of them. One went blank and so all of them went blank downstairs. And so if you replaced the batteries in one, the others would work as well. Now, the same has happened to the 4 bathroom thermostats. One died, they all died. So this is what I am...

    Heatmiser Neo air thermostats

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I do not. The other 4 cables connect on to the terminals and springs of the battery compartment. As if they are linked? Very strange

    Heatmiser Neo air thermostats

Hi all. I hope you are well. I am looking fornsome advice on the above thermostats. Turned upto a house where one of the bathroom ufh thermostats batteries run out, they all turn off. Now when opening these thermostats up, it seems like they have wires going into the battery compartment...

    Setting out blockwork from foundation

I came across this today and I am thinking this could be what I need to do. I think in this I.age they have the concrete block on its belly with the engineering brick infront and then straddling the concrete block. So I can do this but have the block installed normally and then the bricks infront.

    Setting out blockwork from foundation

That's good to know. I was thinking of the ease of running drainage with beam and block floor. I will not have enough depth with a concrete slab so hoping I can just put a rest bend on the foundation as close to the wall as possible so I don't need to run it through the hardcore. Although I...

    Setting out blockwork from foundation

Hi Thanks for your reply. I am going to do the concrete and then insulation so I can do the screed last with UFH. Good to know that the 10mm difference is ok. I was actually thinking of grinding it down a touch. I am asking around for a good brickie so hopefully someone will refer someone as...

    Setting out blockwork from foundation

Hi. Thanks for your reply. It is a garden room. That is being built as a house as planning permission was required due to it having a kitchen, bathroom and mezzanine level. I was going to put in a beam and block floor but I have decided I don't want the vents. With a beam and block floor or...

    Setting out blockwork from foundation

Hi all. I hope you are all good. I am am now after some advice on the best blocks/bricks to use to sit the timber walls on. I was going to do a beam and block floor but I think I would prefer it with no vents. So going to go with 150mm type 1, 50mm sand, dpm, 100m concrete, 100mm insulation and...

    Setting out blockwork from foundation

Thanks so much for the reply. So the technical term is screw the beds down. Love it. Good to know that the beds are pretty much stable once dry. I was at Hampton Court palace the other day and noticed the mortar between the bricks there was really small. Amazing consideration those bricks must...

    Setting out blockwork from foundation

I purchased a red one to tile my bathroom a few years ago and have just kept with that. I bought a receiver last night and that certainly beats trying to find the laser line outside. With blockwork, is it ok to go smaller than the 10mm mortar bed underneath, say at the highest point so then you...
