Brexit was the key that unlocked the floodgates of the boats. Look at the figures. The reason this happened was because the very mechanism by which we could return these people was removed by Brexit, thus the flood started.

Or that Brexit was a brilliant idea, thus removing the mechanism of return... :rolleyes:

The other option would be to reinstate the ceiling rose with a long piece of flex and re-site the existing fitting nearby. Then, when you leave, you just trim the flex to length, refit the lamp holder and remove your fitting from the ceiling.

Yeah, I was gunning for them, but they obviously didn't make it.
