    Just thought - The trv is on the flow side (which on this one is on the right) So I assume that means it's set up ok ? BUT This clearly is a add on via a house extension it is as if the pipes are the wrong way round for this type of rad ? The radiator needs the trv on the left but the pipes...

    Thanks !!!! Gonna attempt to take rad off and flush this afternoon..... I may if this doesn't work have to change the lockshield valve but that's if it doesn't work. The flow is from trv to lockshield. That will be another post ...... But I have most of the tools and info now.

    Thanks so much . prepare for more damned fool questions . just ordered a Lazer Heat thing to assist project balance ... this when I'm confused as on some rads TRV is on wrong side where water flowa in. i.e the hot water comes in via lockshield valve ..... seems illogical to balance a radiator...
