    Chrome browser alternatives

I use SeaMonkey. It's Mozilla based (like FF) so most of the FF add-ons will work with it. Much better (in my opinion) than Chrome.

    Paint brush confusion

I'll give your trademark a miss thanks  These days I wear the usual navy with hi-vis stripes. Back to being boring and blending in with everyone else  What part of Mid Glam were you in?

13A supply spurred off 32A socket?

I was thinking about this and realised my gas hob is plugged into a 13a socket. Well, the gas side isn't but the igniter system is.

Cannot get good countersink with a Pillar drill!!!!!

I'm not sure if it'll work with wood but back in a previous life when I was a toolmaker to get a good finish on a countersunk hole in metal we would put a piece of emery cloth between the job and the drill. It stopped the 'chattering' and gave a lovely smooth countersink.

    Paint brush confusion

Funny how you mention pink overalls. A few years ago before we got taken over by a big multi-national the company I work for had red overalls with high vis reflective stripes. After a few boil washes they always faded

    Tiles on MDF ??

I need to tile a small patch of MDF. It'll only be three maybe four tiles. Do I need to prepare the MDF in any way first? Perhaps rough the surface up a bit to give the tile adhesive something to grab on or would I need to paint it with MDF primer first?

    Emulsion on MDF

I've had a look at previous posts and there's been a few different answers. Basically I need to paint some MDF walls in a small holiday chalet. Some of the walls are in a toilet. I was planning on using Johnstones vinyl silk which some posts on here claim doesn't need a primer on the MDF first...

    Lost in translation????

This is a warning sign on the outside of an inverter cubicle on a solar farm I worked at. It seems every cubicle by this company (a very well known multi national, not sure if I should name them as they employ me!) in the UK has the same sign. Do you think something was lost in translation??
