Update Faceplate arrived today, worked a treat, caulking was a nightmare slightly because I stupidly didn't brush the area beforehand so didn't get a nice of a finish. I suppose still looks decent though!

No, it totally refuses to go in and lock into place. Yes staples supplied worked fine, no issues

Initially I thought that. Those staples then dropped out, still issue persists. I was thinking staples are staples so would just fit, its frustrating because looks like you need specific types. Worse thing is the staple gun manufacturer do not sell spares on the market like that

Not too sure, I didn't break it apart, just put the whole line in as it came in the box. Can putting too much in be an issue? Then again the width of the staples can be an issue

By having a visual inspection looks like the top left corner is catching slightly on the side frame
