    if its still under warranty then ideal may refuse to work on it as the pipework allowing for the tee will just be undersized but nothing that will really effect it . But if everything is accessible at present then get it changed to 22mm to future proof it so no one can say its not adequate...

    You paid someone to do a job so why not phone them back up and say it appears not to be successful and needs a revisit . It may well be your plastic piping is the non barrier type with your repeated blockages

    How far out from the brick work does that concrete section stick out ? The pipe does go tight to the wall for entering into bottom of box . Be easier just cutting a channel into the concrete for pipe to sit in it and as they are digging a hole a couple of foot deep they should be able to chop...

    no it will just empty the pipework but if it snaps in off the position you then have 25 + gallons of water stuck above it with the additional hassle of changing that valve which in some instances is not straight forward

    just drain it , as the valve others are telling you to look for and turn off have a habit of snapping in the off position

    Some Designer vertical rads can take days/weeks for all the air pockets to come out and the rad to heat evenly all over. Try turning all rads off with just that one on for a few hours and see if it shift it

    if you are just changing the one on the right drop the pressure to zero and you will be able to change it without having to drain whole system you will get a bit of a dribble as you do it

    you are allowed to pump up to 12 litres a minute so jet washers should be set for no more than this power showers are not connected to the mains they are fed from tanks
