Hopefully it is because decent people out number the toe rags.

How to prevent cracks and keep coving on

You use Easyfill as an adhesive? I have never used it as one. That said, I seldom use Easifill.

    Gas BBQ hose fitting

I do not know the answer but if you dip the pipe in a cup of boiling water it will make it softer and might make it easier to push it up further.

    Tiling on plaster walls?

Assuming that you are using a cement based adhesive, at a minimum, apply SBR to reduce the risk of ettringite crystals forming when the cement interacts with the plaster. Tiling over plaster is OK though. For what it is worth, naked plasterboard has a greater weight load than plaster over...

BoschSeries 2 fridge door left open - no longer gets cold enough

It looks like there are 3 plastic caps hiding 3 screws on the backplate. 2 at the side bulges and 1 at the bottom.

    Dada Kitchen cabinet hinge problem

That is really odd. Image 2 looks like there is a screw hidden under the cruciform/ mounting plate. That said, perhaps it is just a connecting screw between the two units. As per @foxhole 's post, removing the screw that he circled should be sufficient. The two slots exist to (ordinarily)...

    Paint drying time?

I don't know if it is any good. Please research it. The company is totally legit. The battery powered (non-drill version is about £500+). At some point, I might purchase the battery version. Other airless options tend to use long hoses to supply the paint. On the upside, it makes the spraying...

How to tackle a red wall when going a different colour?

Purdy rollers sleeves and frames are interchangeable with Wooster. I prefer the purdy frames with their own extension poles because they have a little button on the pole which allows you to push the frame on without having to manually wind it on. Sounds silly, but over the period of a day it can...

    Paint drying time?

You can add terebene to oil based paint to speed up the curing process. That said, yeah, drips will stay soft for ages. Waterbased paints are the path of least resistance in your case. They are however less durable. As a general rule of thumb, drips/etc aside, waterbased fully cures in 5...

Are you not worried about the fact that tongues are hardly in the grooves? Or was that intentional?

connect BT Orange and Blue cable to socket RBGW cable

Do you not have an NTE5 box? You only need to run 2 cables to the extension. In the old days slave sockets used 2/3 and 5. 5 was the bell ringer for the phone. Very few phones need the bell ringer these days. The bell ringer wire potentially adds extra interference to the extension. That...

    Shower tray drain

You can try things like One Shot but they will only melt hair/paper/etc. If someone has dropped something plastic in to it, the acid will make no difference. In the latter scenario, you risk having to undo pipe work with acid in it. Those kind of traps normally have a middle section which can...

I have never seen plastic shims compress under those kind of loads. If concerned that they might shift, I glue them together.

Can you take a photo of the waste from above, with the grill bit removed? BTW, I am not a plumber.

BoschSeries 2 fridge door left open - no longer gets cold enough

Sounds like leaving the door open resulted in ice behind the rear panel. See the above. I have used temperature controlled heat gun in the past- from memory, I went for 150 degrees centigrade. Absent of the heat gun, yeah, I would use a hairdryer.

How to tackle a red wall when going a different colour?

Primer is not necessary in between coats of emulsion. The primer is only necessary when sealing the plaster for the first time (the primer can be a dilute coat of regular matt emulsion thinned as per the manufacturer's instructions and not some guy on youTube ((it reduces the level of suction))-...

How to tackle a red wall when going a different colour?

3 coats of a decent emulsion (eg Dulux Trade matt emulsion) should suffice - cutting in might require a 4th coat. As a decorator, I should have known better, nevertheless I once purchased a 10L tub of Crown (retail) white matt emulsion (it cost a tenner). I was only painting white walls. 3...

    Split Door Panels

I was thinking of the tub. All waterbased caulks shrink back. MS polymers (which are a bit like silicone sealant) do not shrink back, and are very flexible but you will not be able to sand them flat. The stuff in the tub has a very low water content.

    Split Door Panels

Sorry- I have just edited my last post- I wanted to say that it is NOT guaranteed to work. The success rate is about 50/50. I don't think any of the companies you list sell epoxy resins. The 3 major manufacturers are TimbaBuild, RepairCare and latterly/more recently Oxera (the company that I...
