Hiya my kitchen units sit on the concrete floor and annoy the guys downstairs ... can anyone recommend a 1mm odour free rubber material that is suitable to slide under the feet and decouple them ? I got some "acrylonitrile" and SBR, but they both stink so don't want them here. Any ideas ? Thanks !

Yeah well I think so ! I stripped out 4 plastic tubes full of cables that had been in there fore years, and now it completely shuts off readily (it's not stuck or heavy). Also had loads of enginners, half of BG has been here for the old glow worm about 200 times as well as Vaillant Scottish...

@ianmcd thanks, well I cleared that cupboard out to make access better (had lots of cables), but my boiler engineer threatened me with reporting or cutting off gas this morning ... so is there any way I can sort of get a balanced view or something ?

Hi, this skylight has just been installed near me, apparently it's a 30deg opening unit 2m x 1m, motorised. It's 3" from the bedroom wall, 6" from the bathroom window. Those are precise numbers. It's under 2 sloped tiled roofs which bring a lot of debris down. Is this a legit installation...

Hi thanks for the response ... do you mean that it did not have opening function ? And are you reasonably sure about that ? There seemed to have been some kind of hinge but possibly that was just to lift from the top for maintenance.

I believe that prevention of fire escape that previously existed, and due to the design of the roof if an attempt was made the escapee would have to walk through a very narrow walking route barely big enough for a foot just next to the opening which is more than 2m across and 80cm high...

OSB doesn't look strong enough to take a deck resting on it. What about doing half thickness ply, half thickness OSB ?

Planning is no problem there are a few of these in adjacent properties. What would you recommend for the easiest way to convert it into a balcony? Cheers
