    What are these screws called?

I’m very surprised Freddie and Kool would screw these into plasterboard and hang a radiator on them !

    What are these screws called?

Are these what you're screwing into dotdab plasterboard as per your other thread ? Surely t f not !

Plasterboard adhesive to fill a gap when drilling

I would cut the ' whole hole ' :) out, to get back to whatever the dot dab is onto. Then elongate it into a slot that's long enough and high enough for your brackets. Then get the thickest piece of wood you can get away with and fix that with the proper fixings into the wall, then fix the...

    It’s not fair, is it?

Hear hear !! It’s even worse when you watch a homeless ex-vet whose served for his country being interviewed on the telly and he says “ if I was foreigner I would be warm and fed “. :(

How high to hang column radiator

A wee tip - you might want to stick the plastic sleeves that fit onto the bracket( and between the rad) on with something. I can guarantee you’ll knock them off when hanging :)

How high to hang column radiator

I agree with both of @Madrab comments above. Any height you like, but only for looks. Reason I know ? A few years ago I put one ( the same size as yours) into my new kitchen/diner. It looked the dogs bits, but after the first winter i e'bayed it to some other poor sod. The...

    Stove - smell of fumes

My neighbour had a perfectly functioning flue, until last year when he fitted a spinning cowl. He could tell it wasn’t clearing as well as before with the old one, so after a week he changed it. He’s much happier with it now.

Attach pergola to external wall (side on)

Personally, I’d still run a full length along the garage wall, and ‘rest’ your 2 frame lengths on top of it, just to spread the load evenly.

Large stone resin shower tray bedding onto Plywood overboard on floorboards - Tile Adhesive or Cement.

As a tradesman, I agree with @cdbe above, and TBH 95% of the time we all use slow set to tile the bathroom walls. However, in the case above, we are talking an area of less than 2m2, hardly a full bag or a large area! And trust me, the O.P. will be focused on getting that tray down, absolutely...

Large stone resin shower tray bedding onto Plywood overboard on floorboards - Tile Adhesive or Cement.

Yip, you need to be prepared ! I also see you’ve changed from slow set to rapid set, which is what I’ve always used ( albeit I prefer the BAL flexi rapid ) Top Tip :- put the tray face down, flat, on a carpet and unwrap it. Then take a known flat edge ( 1200 or 1800 spirit level usually )...

SBR for me, mixed 3:1. Leave overnight to dry. BAL Rapidest tile adhesive. Has worked well for me over the years.

Are modern plastic wall panels liable to leak?

I was tiling a kitchen last month where the customers main bathroom walk in shower had the wetwall panels installed horizontally, so a 'seam' at 1M and another at at 2M high. Seemed strange at first, but the again, why not ?

Although this doesn't help you - it might help anyone else looking for a similar " hack"/ tip .......... If grouting in either a light grey or a medium grey, then BAL Micromax is colour matched exactly with Screwfixs own brand silicones !
