hello, its a suspended floor and yes fitted units including some floor peninsula units with a dishwasher and washing machine and i cant see or smell or feel any leaks at least at floor level.

No because top floor switch stopped working. Due to a wire that had come loose. The ground floor single switch works fine. The first floor switch to the first floor landing works fine. The first floor switch to the 2nd floor landing and the 2nd floor switch to landing and upstairs bedroom are...

Correct. The landing light also controlled by a switch the next floor down. At the moment that switch doesn’t work either. Im thinking that I need to flip the wiring on this top floor switch i.e. change out the l1 and l2s Should I also flip the L wires? basically turn it into a mirror image...

I’ve attached one with the right hand wires update as per the earlier advice. As you can see there are five wires, not six

So that’s given me power to the landing light but not the pendant in the room. is there not an issue with having five wires not six? and believe me I’m two months in trying to book an electrician to do this!
