Can anyone recommend a good extractor fan?

I presume you mean 10 cubic metres. Not 10 metres cubed. What length duct? Have you made the hole yet? What size? What sort of shower will you have? TD250.

    Ceiling extractor fan in bathroom

I was shown a S&P TD250/100T mixed flow extractor fan in a plumbers merchants but it was £102 + vat. This seemed expensive even though it sounds like a really good one. I cant find it to buy on the internet-has anyone else heard of it?

Fit an extractor fan in shower area and duct through roof

That's not the only option: You can duct through the loft void & out through the eaves too. I have used Soler and Palau before now. TD250. Strange name, good kit, IMO. http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Manufacturers/Soler/4_Inch_Fans_Duct/index.html

Extractor fan ducting - flat channel vs round efficiency

...being equal, what % improvement in extraction rate can I expect? Eg per the TLC stats in the link below, using 100mm rigid ducting with the TD250, over a 5m run, leaves 135 m3/h extraction. What kind of numbers do you estimate you'd be able to achieve using the 110x54mm ducting...

Extractor fan ducting - flat channel vs round efficiency

If nothing else changes then the 50% increase in cross sectional area will allow the fan to push approx 50 % more air than is being moved through the existing duct. TYPICAL and by no means assured, there is no mention of the air pressure difference between inside the room and outside at the...
