The rendering(if you can call it that) was already done when we moved in. I was just showing how bad it is and the fact that because they can't see it, they don't care that we have to see it, and what we can probably expect from the new build. Access would have been ok when it was rendered...

I will be laying turf shortly, but want to incorporate some sort of path through the middle, whether it be slabs or possibly a decking path. Should I do this before laying the turf, or after so I know the correct depths to dig for the path finish? Advice appreciated :wink:

I paint glossed ceilings with white matt all the time and have never had any problems. Two coats will do the job fine. Some people's advice unneccessarily complicates the problem I think and just confuses people like yourself who just want a simple answer.

I have a 4.8 Meter length of guttering to install and was wondering how much of a slope in inches I need along the entire length. Can anyone offer any help please. I'm thinking probably no more than 1 inch looking at neighbours' guttering, but would rather have advice from someone who knows what...

Can anyone help? I am installing two lengs of guttering, one is 3.2M long and the other is 4.8M long. What kind of slope do I need over each length for water to flow towards the outlet? Grateful for any advice.

Just give it two coats of your final colour, that'll be better, because although you may not think so, a dark colour like purple may not cover the white in one, especially on your cutting in.
