sorry my bad well earth i mean thanks

this is a totally different question i changed all the metal light switches and plug sockets for plastic ones and all of them had metal back boxes were the wires are so i removed all the neautral wires from the socket and switch face plates and put into the back on the back box, but 1 light...

its the green/yellow wire i am talking about can i just leave not connected as no were to connect to on back box and the switch housing?

thanks spark also on 1 of the light switches ( the one with 3 switches for landing and kitchen) the back box in plastic and there was a few neautral wires going to the face plate but as the new one is plastic can i just disconect them and tie them up ? Thanks

thanks a lot so is this correct and yellow and green wire goes into the metal back box into a terminal then another wires goes from there into the switch, so now i just remove the wire to the switch and leave the onle into the back metal box ? the the back box in metal and switch is plastic...

Hi all i purchased some light switches but they dont have earth wire just com and l1, the origional switch had a earth wire going onto the side of the switch, it is a metal box what the switch screws onto and using MK logic plastic white switches, do i just remove the wire going onto the switch...

i have read loads of things saying dont connect dirsctly to the wall but with pannel fencing u dont get many options as cannot extend past the post ? if i do put onto walli think i will cut the top on a slope and set the bolts back into the wod but any help or pics would be great what is ur...
