As it turns out, it's less than I thought. I just measured it again, using the connection for the boiler filler loop. It measure 3 bar static, dropping to 2.5 bar dynamic (turning a tap on in the same room). So all good.

Thanks. What do you mean by "a pig tail" please? Which part of flexies usually leak? The main body, or one of the connectors? Would I be right in thinking that a very hot supply isn't good for flexies? And/or high pressure? It's 5 bar in this house (the cold supply, that is).

Yes, that's a possibility too. Though one end needs to be 3/8" (which are available). But there's a really strange 1/2 to 3/8 adaptor scarcity thing going on, or else I don't understand (which is a possibility).
