Hot and cold water pipes to outbuilding

One water pipe seems protected against the cement, the other doesn’t. It will depend on the depth laid in regards to having them freeze.

How do I go about this?

Don't know really. I don’t have a lot of free time to study, I easily lose concentration and would be better suited in a classroom environment. I get these pipe dreams now and again (not just because I’m a gas engineer ).

How do I go about this?

A bit of toing and froing on this but for the time being have decided against learning electrics as I don’t feel I have the right mind set currently to do it. I might go back to learning woodwork, but who knows. Vicious cycle atm.

How to remove cover on hinge

Depends on which way you want to adjust. Looks like a Haps Colonial flag hinge, search this and you may find what you're looking for. The cover may need to come off with a hammer and striking implement, eg screwdriver or it may be a fixed type

Might sound like a daft question, but any photos of the ceiling rose wiring?

Looking to buy a decent wire stripper .. for DIY only

Sorry, I should have said, I didn't pay that price for the Irwin's, I only paid under £12. Plenty of others available cheaper than those.

    A missing friend

Oddly enough before reading this post, I thought, hmm he usually responds to my posts, even if nobody else does. Hoping he is ok. We haven't heard from some in the CC either.

Looking to buy a decent wire stripper .. for DIY only

I had some Haupa vde water pump pliers, sold them on eBay as didn't see the need for them. Prefer Knipex for pump pliers.
