I doubt it’s the link, usually just for heating. Either wired up wrong, fault with programmer or cylinder thermostat.

    22mm into a 15mm?

That 22mm could be 3/4” which is slightly smaller in size. You can get fittings to overcome this. It’s considered normal in some scenarios, yours included where they have likely converted the old gravity fed system into a combi? Waste looks like copper, but yes, no harm in lowering it.

bath frame without using wooden battens

Tbh, when I was 1st let loose after being an apprentice, my silicone skills were very poor. On new builds I believe it is done for them by a silicone seal person.

bath frame without using wooden battens

Was the bath fitted after the tiles? That's quite a big silicone gap. Maybe the bath has dropped? Get some timber battens under the bath feet if possible. The mould is likley from leakage from that poor silicone seal job.

    No water from Shower head

There should be something that you turn the shower on with as an electrical isolation, so a pull cord (as per @Johntheo5) or a switch - have you checked these as a minimum? It’s an electric shower, hence why you get hot water from your combi boiler

Would this be a fire risk?

I have visited a property today and noticed the boiler cable just coiled up, rather than shorten it. I thought along the lines of an extension cable not fully unwound, but have I overthought it? I have shortened it myself on today's visit, but just wondered for future reference. Additional...
