Bournemouth area - roadside stop cock / water meter key?

@Ric_01 Bournemouth water authority chose to install anti-tamper water meters. You need a 3-vane key. This company works in partnership with Bournemouth water and supply the meters there. They have stopcock keys listed but the photos of each key don't appear on my browser... Broken links...

    Intergas Boiler Service

The manufacturers' instructions stipulate service intervals and their extent. These should be adhered to but companies like Homeswerve choose their own methods, which fall short and often lead to warranty repair issues when manufacturer is called out.

Fluid master flush valve removal problem.

They "should" rotate either way. If yours is stuck and needs to come out anyway, then no harm giving it some force CW to see if it will release.

    Central Heating System loses pressure.

Remove condense and attach a plastic bag. Pressurise system to 2.5bar cold. Leave any demands off or boiler off for 24hrs. If you have one, Use immersion heater for hot water during this period. See if plastic bag fills. This is to check if hex is split.

How do I connect to the male thread of a dielectric coupler?

Only ever seen them stipulated for instantaneous electric water heaters. They're to prevent Galvanic corrosion, some unvented storage cylinders use a sacrificial anode to address this.

How do I connect to the male thread of a dielectric coupler?

As above... There are short socket female irons available - I have had to get a bag of them as have been having to fit a lot of instant water heaters in garden rooms recently. Check with local independent merchants. Not nationals.

How to replace a leaky WC Cistern syphon

Weird shower issue - no water!

As I said earlier... You need to establish this! From your description, it "read" like the shower is teed into the rising main that feeds the CWSC... That is usually not the same pipe that feeds the bath cold, as this is from the CWSC and therefore "tank fed"! So... Follow that pipe into the...

Weird shower issue - no water!

And never be tempted to change the shower head they come with... As most if not all are designed to use the supplied fittings and will blow the pressure relief valve if 3rd party parts are attached (y)

Weird shower issue - no water!

Just to warn you... Very few plumbers will get involved with a repair to an electric shower! I did once but warned customer the parts he had bought might not fix it... They didn't! Better to get a new one... But also check/flush supply pipework.

Weird shower issue - no water!

Sounds like flow switch is not activating. So, could be checked for blockages but usually these just get replaced as simpler to get a quick fix that way.
