Weird shower issue - no water!

So the electric shower is teed off the rising main to the cold water storage cistern in the loft? This should be fine as electric showers should be mains fed... Some are not... Hence my question about tank fed. The flexible hose sounds a bit suspect! Does it have any kinks in it? Also...

Right, OK. So what boiler do you have? A combi? How is your hot and cold water supplied?

    Water pressure mystery!

As above... Flush the pipes out. Check for dirt at fittings. Did you have any issues before the kitchen refurb? Or was it a low pressure tap?

How to replace a leaky WC Cistern syphon

Shove the pan con past the flange... If need be, cut the flange off! It's the throat size that is what matters! Else get a mcalpine DC fitting to convert to 110mm.

    Rothenberger torch grub screw seized

With Wd40 (which is even less effective than it was before the VOCs regulations) it is oil vs water... And we all know they don't mix... Former floats on latter! So, you need a formula that can penetrate (through any water) to the mechanism and free it up/lubricate it.

    Fitting new WC

Not a big fan of offsets but a lot depends on how big the ahem items passing though it are.... And amount of toilet paper.

    Fitting new WC

Don't know what that flexi is... It's got wrong end for pan spigot. Not sure what the OP has done with it.. But a standard flexi should work fine, without the offset.

    Fitting new WC

Will the flexi not do it without the offset? Also... Any pan con is designed to go into 110mm pipe, not a socket, so if that's a 110mm plastic socket in the wall, you'll need a bit of pipe to line it.

    Toilet Seals

You can buy a ring seal coupling and harvest the o rings out of it if you want to be sure... But, if existing are still pliable then just some silicone grease when you reassemble.

    Vaillant advanced protection filter

FFS! I said ask Vaillant because only "they" know what voids their warranty! And whether or not a visiting engineer from them would even spot it! It would also be useful as you can ask them if it's even been registered for warranty lol.

Can I reuse a valiant ecotec plus flue and plume kit?

When someone who does not do your job tells you how long it will take... Don't take it on.

    Air-lock?

No bud! You need to stop the meter spinning by dealing with all the leaks you know exist (ie toilet cisterns etc) then you need supplier to sort any issue with including ability to isolate from there, then you need to deal with your internal stopcock and make sure it can be operated! External...
