Yes, if someone enters with a key there is no "forced entry" which is usually a requirement for insurers to pay out.

If "Gas rate" is what my heating engineer is doing at the gas meter, with the boiler running flat out, when he services the boiler then BG never did that. They didn't even look at the meter. They were very good at offering to sell me Co2 alarms and a powerflush though.

Around here they prise them off the wall, take them away to open them and come back later with the key. Even better if there is a tag for the alarm in the key safe with the key. Preferable if the key safe can be positioned out of sight.
