Cat flap, and getting cat to use it.

Yea tricky one, probably gotta be cruel to be kind, presumably you've 'shoved her through it' from that direction a few times? As she's happy exiting that way, the cat flap per se doesn't seem to be an issue so I'd hazard she'll use her favourite form of entry until you put an end to it.

Steel supports between two Bi fold doors

Do you have masonry over the top too? Assuming your bifolds are floor supported they can be fixed back to the columns and beam above with window fixing clips. If you have masonry over the top then you will need something to support the outer skin so a flat plate welded to the bottom of your RSJ...

Steel supports between two Bi fold doors

With plaster/plasterboard, whatever you're using to finish the inside of the blockwork. The bifolds should be set back say 75mm back from the outer face of the outer skin.

Steel supports between two Bi fold doors

Inside, then the steel will be able to be insulated, you do end up with a more chunky corner but these fancy pants photos never show the condensation that must occur on the the inside faces of the column. Position your columns at the jambs in the inner skin, then they wont be a massive cold...

    What are these screws called?

I have, he's got a dot and dab on masonry and he's made a hash of the holes, he just needs to fill the hole and carry on with the corefix.

    What are these screws called?

It's a bit embarrassing that some of you don't know what corefix's are. Heyho.

How do I fix this tiling by a cowboy builder?

No one will ever notice it. Except for you, every time you walk in the bathroom!

How to temporarily cover grab handle threads?

Cut them off flush with a hacksaw blade.

Thin white board with shiny bits

Could be a bit of bathroom wall cladding.

    Moving lampost cost and planning

I suspect it's a case of first come first served. In anycase you should check your highways criteria for new driveways, for example down this way some authorities will restrict the overall width of new driveways (ie for two adjacent properties) and will also restrict the gap you can have between...

    Principal elevation L shaped house

Well it does get a it ambiguous, hence a photo/plan might help. Is the bit on the right a garage? IF so is it original? Your second diagram is form the Scottish guidance btw.

    Principal elevation L shaped house

A plan showing the layout would help, as would a photo probably. There can only be one principal elevation, it cannot be both walls.

    Cornice for cabinets

Or you could always innovate! :p

Saw this photo of a house on RM

This appears to be from the latest (approved) planning application but the beams aren't present on the drawings, the balcony barrier on the drawing is a railing yet now it's a parapet wall, perhaps it's a structure to hold the parapet up, most peculiar.

    Shelf For Lad's Lego

More than adequate, Lego doesn't weigh much, the depth of the screw holes varies I'd say from about 20mm at the corner to 10mm at the ends.

    Trickle vents

The vents are disintegrating already, hence requiring replacement.

Are modern plastic wall panels liable to leak?

Erm, you know you can get a genuine tile look with the panels? Best of both worlds IMO.
