    If there is only one cable going to the final socket in the drawing then it is probably a radial. Could be spurred off the FCU for the boiler but shouldn't be.

    I would guess in that case it needs to be knocked off and re-rendered with plenty of waterproofing added.

    Penetrating damp may be the problem but sems excesive in the first pic. to be that if it's a cavity wall. I assume first pic is before roof repairs and third pic is now. If that is the case it may just need more time to dry out or there may be an obstruction in the cavity that is wicking water...

    Bad connection of either the cable or the internal pin holders of the socket. Did he take it off and look at all or just say he would be back.

    Have you read the instructions and tried it in different modes and have you ensured the water container is installed correctly. If yes to those questions then it would appear not to be working properly.

    In your other post you have numbered the les's 6 to 9. The link I posted refers to them as 1 to 5. Which configeration that is shown in the 2 tables do you have. Horizontal or vertical. Posting a pic of the flsashing led's on the control panel might help.

    Same brand but no knurling. Cheaper and the ones I know and use https://www.toolstation.com/croydex-grab-rail/p66542 I'd also recommend using stainless steel fixings.

    Go for a polished stainless steel one.. The white painted ones rust eventually.
