Ariston Euro Combi not reaching pressure - any ideas please

Then you have a leak somewhere. Isolate the heating circuit and see if the pressure still drops.

Ariston Euro Combi not reaching pressure - any ideas please

Agree with petit pablo. You've been over pressurising the system. 2.5 bar is far too high and when hot the system will reach 3 bar and start to release water through the PRV. This will fail to seal properly after frequent use due to debris on the washer.

    Keston Celcius 25

Have you taken the electrode out of the combustion chamber, earthed it and observed it failing to spark? Can you get a spark off the lead end held a few mm from earth? Have you checked the ignition lead contact to the PCB?

    Saunier Duval

It's a pretext for charging a whole lot of money for what would normally be a reasonably inexpensive part. Spare parts pricing is just a racket.

    radiator help:

Radiators normally have four tappings. I suspect the other two on your rad are plugged off. The top plug should have an air vent in it.

Banging Honeywell V4073a mid position valve when HW demand

The internal workings of the mid-position valve have been explored in detail here, back in 2004. It was all discussed again about a year ago, here, but some of the links contained in these links aren't working. I'll see if I can fix them.

Mains Cold & Pumped Hot to Thermostatic Mixer Shower?

In principle you could have cold at mains pressure and hot from a tank and boosted by a pump. The important thing is that the dynamic pressures should be reasonably balanced, at least to a degree acceptable to the pump manufacturer. This is easily achieved, if necessary using a Pressure Reducing...

its the customers who should be on the telly as well

Not "someone else", rudeboy, but you. You think you can ditch your hi-spec name and come back an hour later as ajs and no one will notice. Well we're not all as stupid as you seem to think or as you are.

its the customers who should be on the telly as well

Of course he hasn't ceased. He simply re-registered under a new name, didn't he "ajs"? Or is it just a coincidence that hi-spec's last post was at 7.38 pm on 29th November and your first post was at 8.46 pm the same night, about an hour after you realised that "hi-spec's" abusive email to me...

its the customers who should be on the telly as well

You see what I mean. Zimmers is just crude and obvious. Catching Zimmers out is like catching a cold, while catching rudeboy out is like catching a fish.

its the customers who should be on the telly as well

Zimmer was too easy to pull to pieces. Ajs / rudeboy / Hi-spec is just a little more challenging. I think he's getting worried now, trying to work out how I sussed him. 8)

its the customers who should be on the telly as well

And do you deny that you are also hi-spec who ceased posting here at 7.38 pm on 29th November, a few minutes after I exposed him as rudeboy?

its the customers who should be on the telly as well

Ajs, your lines are so predictable, straight out of some cheap detective novel. Oh well, I'll continue in a similar vein - So ajs, you deny that you are rudeboy who sends abusive emails?

    Suppliers, Info, Manuals etc

The manuals library works brilliantly. You pay a small annual subscription but then you have instant access to a huge and growing number of manuals. If you have any manuals that aren't already on the library database then I'm sure AlanE would be delighted to recieve copies and then scan them in...

its the customers who should be on the telly as well

I'm quite enjoying this game. I'll give you another clue .. Like to 'fess up now, rudeboy? Or do I have to explain the connection?

its the customers who should be on the telly as well

It would be better coming from you, wouldn't it? I'll give you a clue, rudeboy.

Acting all innocent, are we? Zimmers isn't the only one pretending to be someone different, is he?

    Britony Cobi 80 problem

I should hope not. That would be a bit disastrous. The orange light indicates that the gas has ignited at the burner. If you want to fix this yourself you'll need a manual and a fair amount of practical ability. Best to download the one for the Baxi Genesis from the Baxi site - it's the same...
