    AEG Dishwasher, interior lightbulb blown

Can you post the model number please? There will also be a product number, this identifies the machine and ensures I'm reading the correct service manual.

    Indesit W103

Error code F02 means - Motor jammed or tacho detached. Check wiring to motor, module and check the tacho. Generally when you get the 2 flashes you need to change the motor but you might get lucky and it could be a wire.

Why can't I fit gas cooker?

It's to do with new legislation covering flame failure devices. If it's not fitted with appropriate protection it can't be installed in flats. I don't know of any gas cooker that conforms to the legislation at this time. It may be possible to install a gas oven and electric hob but you'd have...

    indesit W1A 111

Have a close look at the door hook. You may have to take the door apart (not a nice experience on Indesit machines). The pin that holds the door hook in place can work it's way out and allow the hook to rise up. Thereby not activating the door lock properly. Alternatively it could be a faulty...

    Smelly machine again

Oh, forgot to say. Make sure the drain hose goes higher than the spigot or not too far into the stand pipe. This is to avoid syphoning or back syphoning.

INDESIT WD10UK - NOT STARTING AT ALL

2mm isn't enough. Go to your local repair shop now and get replacements. If you continue to use the machine and the carbons are arcing you could do severe damage to the electronics

    washing machine breakdown

LOL. You didn't p me off at all. I can't give step by step instructions so when you asked what a pcb is I thought you'd be better off with an engineer. However, now you've found the pcb and checked it visually, try resoldering the bad bits. If that doesn't cure it you have to check the board...

    Miele W828

This goes much further than repairers go. We couldn't justify the time taken to do this. However, may I ask what 6K1 is?

    Diplomat dishwasher, all lights on?

Not sure but if it's an older model, AHY series, then there's a mechanical timer in the base of the machine. Power off, under the door, behind the plinth you'll find an inspection panel, take it off and the timer is there. rotate it manually, put power back on and see if it's working.

    Smelly machine again

There are a few reasons for the smell developing. We no longer do boil washes and where our "grannies" did 60 degree washes we now do 30 and 40 degree. Soap powders have also changed, to work better at lower temperatures. Outer metal tubs have changed to plastic (as you pointed out) and this...

Unplug it. Take the lid off and look behind the front panel. Look to see if there's a relay around the centre of it, between facia and drum. If there is, you need a new one.

Model number would help. Not a lot we can do without it.

Servis washing machine sensor fallen off with pics.

If the grommet is ok and undamaged it should sit in there no problem. If you really don't trust it, run some Bostick around it.

Servis washing machine sensor fallen off with pics.

look closer. it wasn't just glued in, the sensor fits into the rubber grommet. Check that the grommet isn't damaged. If it looks ok then put some washing up liquid on your finger and run it around the grommet, now press the sensor back into place.

    washing machine breakdown

PCB is printed circuit board. This is the board that controls motor movement. It's inside the machine in a plastic housing near the motor. You've cleaned out the filter. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be of much assistance to you as locating the pcb and using a multimeter to check some...

    washing machine breakdown

Serial number may be on the back. First part is the code. starts with a 3 and is 8 digits long. However, if it's the same as the 120T then there's a pcb for controlling the motor in a housing in the bottom of the machine. Have a look at that.
