What type of roof is this? plus a leak in valley

I have a problem of water leak when it rains, and I got up on the roof to see what was going on, and I can see where the problem is, and logically a valley cannot be formed at this joint because of the nature of the "plane" of two roofs meeting, even though it has a shallow valley made of lead...

Daily gas consumption (when central heating off / in summer)

2.7cu m of gas for hot water only, let us see 30Kwh, at roughly say 3p/kw for gas comes to 90p plus standing charge, which sure looks a little high, your storage tank boiler mate seems the culprit, heat loss, a combi boiler can reduce this substantially, almost to less than half, or even nil, if...

    Garage that is too small

Or what if you took the door and the frame off, as well as make a side opening wide enough for you to drive a car in and manage to open your door to get out easily, so it would look like a car porch rather than an enclosed garage. So this way you don't touch the roof and just knock out a wide...

Puller gas, If one does not pass knowledge, talents and experiences to others wanting to learn, then if I can say you are acting very selfish, and your knowledge is worthless. If you keep it all to yourself, it would only die with you and not live on, If you do pass it on, someone somewhere...

    A loft full of flies

A possibility that a dead bird or a small animal has died in the loft water tanks and floating near the surface, water is also essential to breeding, as dead animals can dry up in loft draft, so quite possibly you may even have highly contaminated water supply. I wouldn't rest until the source...

Surface water Charges doubled in 3 Years

In some instances it can actually block as you said, in others it flushes out debris, power flushing works on the same principle, water is jetted in pipework with force that dislodges debris, and moves it out, or sometimes it also does the opposite, same way heavy rain causes extra flow pressure...

Surface water Charges doubled in 3 Years

Totally agree with you, massive rise if you think, if everyone started to do that they will push up other charges, as well as suffer blocked drains, flow of heavy rain water really helps clear some of the debris in main drains. They would be the ones to suffer.
