    Replacing a Vaillant boiler

Hi not sure weather your heat exchanger will be the same as the new vaillants, I find the water ways on the vaillants/glowworms/Ariston/ravenheat are like a batch of micro bore pipe and tempremental to cleaning if dirt finds it's way in. Ali heat exchangers are poor in Worcester and ideal,I...

Sludged up heat exchanger - replace or flush?

If it's stainless steel it doesn't need to be replaced, just clean.I have never replaced a steel heat exchanger, good liquid or powder does the job,I find if on immersion rig main heat exchanger or blow torch to heat chemicals on a plate hex is good enough.

I haven't fitted an intergas as yet as I used to fit branded boilers (driven by customers) but now I would fit atag if I get the say so,to be honest hard water isn't that much of an issue, the condense pipe was standard overflow pipe,if it was going into a soak away I would fit an air break...

Ferroli domi compact F24b hot water sensor

Its either going to be a blockage in a part in the boiler as high temp rise can't get through heatexchanger or sensor is out of calibration, the other thing to see is make sure the flow through taps is good as so tap washers/jumpers drop =reduces flow rate boiler cuts out Good luck with the...

Seems good feedback, thanks guys it's a real shame that they don't have a kitchen cupboard size boiler, the looks of the boiler don't seem that much of an issue for my mate,as the door covers it,but even in kitchen it's usually got a door covering it,as long as it's quite and works well, it ain't...
