    Door frame loose

If it's fixed with cleats, as Ronnie suggested, you may find there is a cavity behind the frame (or very little brickwork) so nothing to fix into there and if so probably the reason they used cleats instead.

PIR under rafters only, not inbetween as no depth, what about the purlins!

So this any clearer, use the aerogel on top of the rafters to connect the PIR and make the insulation layer continuous?

PIR under rafters only, not inbetween as no depth, what about the purlins!

Because you were offered a method of minimising the cold bridging through the purlins and seemingly ignored it.

PIR under rafters only, not inbetween as no depth, what about the purlins!

Or use some aerogel over the top of the rafters, as just mentioned.

Replacing fence posts in retaining wall recess

You would use a proper flowable grout product like this that you can pour into the void to fill it 100%, you're just making a rod for your own back in not using something that doesn't flow properly or isn't a strong mix...

PIR under rafters only, not inbetween as no depth, what about the purlins!

Is this a loft conversion or are you just improving what's there? Presumably you're having the bottom of the purlins exposed? I suppose a layer of aerogel or similar on the top of the purlins would complete the insulation bubble but it's £££s for a single sheet but then you may only need one sheet.

Recent new bathroom - sealant already mouldy

As above but that's not always possible with kids etc but even so 5 months doesn't sound long. A good quality silicone will inevitable field better than a lessor one, perhaps they skimped on it. You'll have to redo it with something like...

Planning a White Finish (Radiators, Doors, Skirting, etc.) - Concerns and Questions

As a DIYer, I don't recall ever getting any yellowing from Dulux Satinwood, though I avoid the quick drying stuff, it's a nightmare to paint with.

    Looking for some advice here

How about you make your post clearer and embed the photos with specific questions you might have with regards to each of them instead of linking to a bunch of random photos on the apple site and expecting us to study them all and make comment on whatever we might see going on. You get crap...

Replacing fence posts in retaining wall recess

My issue would be that the fence will have no resistance to any kind of wind or horizontal forces, only being fixed at the base so a bit of a flawed idea I think despite how sheltered it might be, your brackets are designed for supporting posts that are braced elsewhere. If you can get the...

Replacing fence posts in retaining wall recess

Firstly your first three pics show posts going down to the ground then the next two show a wall with posts on the other side, perhaps some photos of the whole fence might help explain things ..... But on to your proposal, are you saying you hope to hook the rotten post ends out and then cast...

Scratched Stone Resin Shower Tray - how to repair?

There are a few videos/online guides if you search eg From about 4.15 onwards. There are plenty of kits out there but not sure if they are specifically for stone resin, so whatever you choose I would speak with the manufacturer to check it's compatible with stone resin unless the blurb says...
