Maybe helpful:
I replaced the same circuit in wifeys chef, along with brushes and a general service.
One thing that foxed me for a few mins, after taking it apart, was it wouldn't turn on again.
The screws in your picture 2, have springs under, and tightening them moves the board closet to...
Replacing the radiators.
Wife wants these, which are manual / not TRVs.
Is this a bad idea? I understand how a TRV works (wax melt thingy reduces the flow when the desired temp is reached). Can't say we ever adjust our TRVs.
I can only imagine these may be inefficient (e.g., too much heat)...
Surely then this would be detailed in the SE drawing/calcs?
I've only used a SE once, and was provided detailed drawings and instructions for the builder to follow

Yeah, it's demoralising to say the least.
Now I have a reproducible test / evidence of fault I'm going to push harder. Have asked for a call with the MD. They're a fairly large and established "local" company, several, premises etc.
If they can't resolve the drainage I'll take them to small...
I put maybe a pint and nothing.
Please see pics. You can see where they've added silicone, I am guessing they suspect wind driven rain in the corner rather than frame drainage issues.
There is a slope, although it's not great.
Windows are mechanical joined, not welded.
Yes, as you've predicted, no water comes out on the upvc cill, it all vanishes into the cavity.
Same result on the 3 windows in question.
I've run this test on a number of windows in the house, and only a couple drain externally.
As the 3 windows in question are the most exposed (top floor...
Things do bend and flex though...
I've a universal column holding my bathroom floor / kitchen ceiling. The "straw that broke the camel's back" was (previous home owner) holesawing a wastepipe through the middle of each 2x7 joist, midspan, with a freshly tiled floor and underfloor heating laid...
Stupid question: my EV charger was installed, with a mini consumer unit (it needed a certain type of rcd and a spd), next to the main consumer unit.
The supply main is branched into this and the main consumer unit.
Where does your EV take its power from? Surely it needs to be fed in a similar...
Got any more context?
What size joists? What size notches? Where abouts in the span? Is it one or two joists or every single one, midspan, holding a tiled bathroom?
Spraying is a good idea but never tried.
I found easyfill pants for feathering. It feathered aok, and when painting the roller took the thin feathered edges off...
I now toupret fine surface filles, which does not suffer same fate.
As you've already done it, yeah prime it and let us know how it goes
A few years ago I saw someone SDS chisel the pebbledash of the front of their house.
It was a row of terraces, some had been pebbledashed, some not.
The exposed bricks were damaged. I think the dash tore the faces from a lot of them during removal.
Enough for it to look so bad, it got rendered.
3 bed detached, 2 adults 1 kiddo. Gas heating, cooking and got water.
