Yep, white newels/stringer then oak stringer capping, newel caps and bannister.

They have either installed the door itself incorrectly and water is backing Into the house or it required a DPC because they must have taken out the existing DPC when making the opening for the door. As it's running the full length of the door and pretty evenly I would suggest it's a DPC issue.

I've just painted the full house with Dulux Trade, didn't water it down anywhere and very happy with the results.

I would suggest getting up there with a ladder and checking the seal along the top of the window on the exterior, if its silicone it might have perished, if its mortar it might have cracked/fallen out.
