    Yes that makes sense. But do I have to get the cupboard fitted for their eyes, I don’t want to rush it … I would rather get the cupboards when everything is finished

    yep, I just been up and realised. I will just get a zone 1 fan connected to 100mm duct to a pantile roof vent (I have install at the front of the house for ventilation). this vent has a 100mm port for mechanical ventilation.

    my first initial post above states it’s a bathroom in my loft conversion, so the mentioning of an extractor can only relate to that. I wanted to go through the ridge but not correct as I can’t plant the remote in-line fan on top of the ceiling of a room. The bathroom is in between to rooms

    hi Yes it is. It’s my bathroom up in my loft conversion. It will be situated above the bathtub. On the UK regs, it says that vent fans must be 2.10m from floor standing . So I didn’t know I was allowed to put it lower towards the end side of the bath tub as that side is sloppier than the top...

    Hi No, just 1.5m down the slope. I was going to put a roof pantile vent but the thickness of the this tile vent is too big in depth so won’t work.

    so from looking at the pic above, do I cut a 100mm tunnel into the back of the insulated board, and use insulated ducting? or normal ducting?
