i would say so, the diaphragm has split.

Remove the three port head, underneath it is the valve, you need to remove the screws and lift it out. Drain down first!

I'd still take a good look at the rubber ball valve , you would need to drain down to that point though.

When you change the 3 port valve do you check the valve that it is driving? in my experience if this gets tight it eats the motor. Change the actuator part if it's tight, if it's a later Honeywell you can change just that part rather than the complete assembly

When you turn on the hot tap does any water come out or is it dry? If dry then you need to look at the cold water tank in the loft, see if it's empty. If water does flow then you need to check the controls for the hot water, timer, motorised valve etc.

i used to get through Honeywell motorised valves on a regular basis, last time i also changed the rubber ball valve assy, not had another one go for 7 years now. A plumber did say to me that if you can hear the valve motor moving from a few feet away then it's struggling to move the ball valve...

The auto air vent float was stuck in the up position so consequently air was never released, pumps dont want air in them. I just replaced it, worked fine ever since. Could explain your problem.

When mine played up a few years ago it was due to a stuck auto air vent.

when the pump was changed were the Flexi hoses also replaced?

That's fine. It's basically just a switch with a timer and different temperatures. Set your existing timer to constant on and use the 907 for everything. Enable optimum start while you're programming it.

Honeywell CM927 would work.

it feeds the hot water cylinder and if it's empty you get no hot water.

just check the tank in the loft.

check it first. there are probably two, one large one that feeds the hot water tank, the other for the boiler. the fill valve is probably stuck , or the feed pipe is frozen
