Hi all

I have a Baxi Duotech Combi 28HE Boiler and have noticed that the pressure is increasing and water is coming out of the overflow. This only seems to happen when the Central Heating is on. It seems to stay at 1 bar if I just use the hot water but as soon as I switch the heating on the pressure starts to rise. Could this be the expansion vessel and do you think I need a new one?

It’s due a service and I will get a new one for the engineer to fit while he is doing the service if anybody thinks it’s that?

Thanks in advance

Sound like your expansion vessel is flat, need to drain your boiler then pump up expansion vessel to .9 bar then refill boiler.

Thanks, is this something simple to do or should I leave it to a pro?
