Hi,

I have a baxi 105e and when I put the boiler on the pressure hits 3+ and the overflow runs with water. I top up the boiler back to 1.2bar and the boiler does the same again

I’ve just changed the prv that has not changed anything I’ve read it might be the filling loop but am a bit confused with that when I turn the filling loop of the pressure stays at 1.2 does not rise does not drop and I have left that over night to check

I don’t think my boiler has an expansion vessel well I can’t see one

And I was told to check the diaphragm but if am getting hot water it should be ok which I am

Anybody have any ideas?

The expansion vessel needs checking - it's either goosed or needs recharging. The expansion vessel is internal.

The expansion vessel is at the back, accessed by unscrewing the panel behind the flue outlet.Top it up using bike pump type implement, whilst you have an open end.Change the Prv because you probably goosed it again...You might need a new expansion vessel, boiler off wall or fit external vessel.
Plan B.Call a heating engr.
