Yes should be ok I think it's a brickwall with plasterboard surface.so the plasterboard should be deep enough to bury the cable

Yes but can't get to the void as fitted wardrobes are in the way.will only go deep enough to bury the cable

Thanks Ron have come to the same conclusion as there's no allan screws on the the other side of hinge.is it a fairly easy thing to do the toe heal

Just checking the two rcd for upstairs and downstairs are the same as they have a few different numbers on them

Thanks John will check all sockets tomorrow for wiring faults.then swap the upstairs mcb with downstairs one.then if ok go out and buy new mcb for upstairs

Any thoughts on swapping downstairs sockets mcb with upstairs mcb to rule out .or confirm faulty mcb
