Upvc door catching when closing

    Hi can anyone help .conservatory double door catches when closing. Need to adjust the hinge but not sure how to do that.have enclosed picture of hinge IMG-20200826-WA0001.jpg

    Unfortunately those hinges can not be adjusted if I remember correctly. If you open the door up and look at the hinge from between the door frame and door sash there may be adjustment screws/allen screws but I'm pretty sure there isn't. Another option is removing the glass and ' Toe and Heeling ' the glass , a quick search on the internet should explain how to do it

    Thanks Ron have come to the same conclusion as there's no allan screws on the the other side of hinge.is it a fairly easy thing to do the toe heal

    It is fairly easy, its all about packing the glasss sealed unit as a ' diagonal brace ', as you'd see on a wooden gate for example. Google or YouTube it should show some easy explanation, or of you are not comfortable doing it, then I'm sure either a local upvc fitting / repair company could do it for you

    Hi Ron thanks for your help much appreciated. Looked at some videos.dosent look to complex.only query.it is a double glass panel do I have to adjust both panels or just the top one

    If you have glass top and bottom then yes its prudent to do both
